SLM 3D Printing Systems: From Muees310 to Muees430
UnionTech has once again demonstrated its commitment to pushing the boundaries of 3D printing technology with the introduction of the Muees430, the latest advancement in its SLM metal 3D printing series. Building on the success of last year’s Muees310, which garnered widespread acclaim at Formnext + PM South China 2023, the Muees430 represents a significant leap forward in precision, efficiency, and reliability.
1. Optical System:
1)Adopting multi-laser optical path design, supporting multi-galvanometer configuration, can improve the overall molding efficiency.
2)Equipped with 500W imported high-power laser, long-term continuous testing, the power fluctuation is stable at ±1%; on the focusing plane, the beam quality reaches M²≤1.2, the energy distribution is more uniform, and the printing quality is more delicate.
3)Equipped with high-speed galvanometer, the scanning speed can reach 6m/s, the jump speed can reach 18m/s, and efficient printing can be achieved; at the same time, the galvanometer has low drift and stronger stability
4)Built-in large-format field mirror, customized research and development, the full-format spot uniformity can reach 92%, which can achieve consistency of wall thickness and extremely improve printing accuracy.
2. Automatic Calibration:
Since the principle of galvanometer scanning imaging will cause certain distortion of the graphics, in order to ensure dimensional accuracy, the scanned graphics must be corrected. Liantai Technology has developed galvanometer automatic calibration and multi-galvanometer splicing calibration technology based on image processing. Through image detection technology, the correction of galvanometer distortion is achieved. After calibration, the optical scanning dimensional accuracy is less than 0.05mm, and the calibration time is less than 30 minutes; the maximum calibration error can be 0.032mm, and the points with deviation less than 0.032mm account for 99.9%. This technology guarantees the dimensional accuracy of a single galvanometer, and is also of great benefit to the dimensional accuracy of multi-galvanometer automatic splicing.
3. Electronic Control System:
1)Safe and Stable: The safety circuit is designed according to the safety specification standard, and the safety level of the equipment is comprehensively improved, the internal integrated multi-sensor unit upgrades the equipment intelligence; multiple protection functions upgrade the protection.
2)High Precision: The motion axis of the forming cylinder is equipped with a high-precision magnetic scale, which can realize full closed-loop control and more accurate layering, precise temperature control ensures stable printing.
Gas Circulation System:
Multi-stage high-efficiency filtration can achieve more than 99% cleanliness of inert gas, high-pressure backflushing can increase the life of the filter element, and the service life of the filter element can reach 10,000 hours.
4. Equipment structure:
1)Single-blade bidirectional powder spreading structure can reduce auxiliary workpiece time and improve processing efficiency.
2)Double seal design effectively extends the service life of the equipment, improves the sealing performance of the forming cylinder, and has low maintenance costs.
3)Equipped with high-precision spline shaft and precision screw, it ensures stable transmission of the forming shaft during high-load movement, fully enclosed design of scraper drive shaft, dustproof effect. Better, and can extend the service life of the drive shaft, large-capacity aggregate barrel (overflow powder tank), reducing the number of powder cleaning times.
2)Combining wind field airflow simulation with experimental detection, targeted optimization of wind path structure, and forming indoor wind field flow more stable and uniform.
