UnionTech Concludes Successful Participation in TCT Asia 2025 and Additive Manufacturing Seminar

Among the various SLA applications showcased, tyre mold printing stood out as the most precision-intensive. Given the demanding nature of tyre production, where even the slightest deviation can affect grip, wear resistance, and overall safety, extreme precision is a non-negotiable requirement.

Addressing these challenges, UnionTech’s RA Series SLA 3D printer was a key highlight, demonstrating its capability to achieve a surface roughness of Ra < 4µm, a roundness deviation of < 0.05mm, and a radial deviation of ±0.1mm. These levels of precision ensure that mold textures, fine details, and intricate patterns, which influence the performance of the final tyre, are reproduced with high-level accuracy.

- TUF 127 Temperature - resistant and Tough Material: With a heat deflection temperature of 82°C, 20 - 30°C higher than ordinary white material; minimal warpage, large flat bottom can adhere to marble platform; good toughness, 18% elongation at break, 36J/m impact strength; tests show ≤0.02% 2 - week dimensional shrinkage, better than conventional 0.05 - 0.13%, excellent dimensional stability. Suitable for SLA equipment to print fixtures, temperature - resistant models.

- Temp - R220 High - temperature Resistant Material: Over 220°C heat deflection temperature, long - term use temperature >250°C; excellent 120MPa strength, can meet certain machining needs; 0.1% linear shrinkage in high - temperature environments; no high - content powder, high porosity printing demand one - stop solution, stable in complex environments. Suitable for large - format SLA design and manufacturing.
