For the commercial 3D printing user, UnionTech offers in-house developed PolyDevs software, as its cost effect option for data preparation for printing on the PILOT series SL equipment. PolyDevs features the ability to import and export CAD data, repair files, perform mesh editing, generate support structures and prepare slice data for the PILOT equipment. Installation of the new PolyDevs software option is one more factor to facilitate the use of stereolithography technology.
Consistent with UnionTech’s philosophy of open design for software and materials, PILOT series users can opt-in for Materialise Magics part preparation software, in place of Polydevs.
